FAQ

Homeowners often think they need to spend a lot of money investing in brand new sliding glass doors when in reality an inexpensive maintenance call can save you thousands.  We do our best to recommend only what is needed.  We only fix and maintain sliding glass doors, so we will never try to sell you one.  If we can’t fix it, we will let you know up front at no cost to you.

Sliding glass door sets are comprised of either a moving door on wheels or a fixed door that does not move or open.  Most doorways are either a combination of the two or all glass panels roll open to your outdoor space.  We charge per moving panel, so you get to decide which openings you use most and which ones you would like serviced.

We stock a large inventory of parts and arrive with everything we need to complete the job that day.  Within a few hours we can transform your sliding glass doors from a massive struggle to an effortless glide.  You will immediately ask yourself why you waited so long!

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, but as long time locals we understand the needs of service calls to occur on turnover days.  We will do everything we can to service your property on the days that work best for your schedule.

We understand that things happen at the worst possible times.  We don’t want anyone worrying about going to sleep with their door stuck open.  Please contact us if you have an emergency or need an after hours appointment.  We check our messages at regular intervals and will respond as soon as possible should you have an urgent call.

Yes! We keep a selection of door handles and locks in stock and will have them with us and available  at your service call.  We also carry and install extra security locks to help keep your home and family more secure.

PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS! Homeowners often think spraying common lubricants on the track that they read about on DIY sites will fix their sliding glass door problems.  Some lubricants can actually make the problem worse by gunking up the wheels and trapping dirt, dust and pet hair.  Please call us for a free estimate before you attempt any DIY fixes.

While the doors themselves are usually durable and long lasting, often the rollers and wheels are not.  Things like dirt, pet hair, salt water, pool chemicals, and excessive rain can often lead to these moving parts prematurely breaking down.  The heavier the door the more weight these small parts have to take on.  This can lead to excessive corrosion or failure of the wheels or bearings.  We can quickly and cost effectively replace these parts to get your expensive sliding glass doors rolling like new again.

We go above and beyond our competitors by including a  3 year warranty on our parts and labor.  We only select the best materials and products and because of that we stand behind our work.  Word of mouth recommendations mean everything to us, and we hope you will feel confident to recommend our services to your family and friends.
